About Shapoorji Pallonji Group of Companies
We trace our origins back to 150 years ago, when, as Littlewood Pallonji & Co, we built a giant water reservoir on Malabar hills to serve the needs of the residents of Bombay (now Mumbai), a city on the west coast of India. Over time, we have grown to become the ‘Shapoorji Pallonji Group of Companies’, with annual revenues in excess of US$ 2 billion.
Shapoorji Pallonji & Co. Ltd (SPCL), our contracting division has contributed in building numerous iconic buildings and structures that dot the architectural landscape of India. In 1970, we became the first Indian construction company to venture into the Middle East, when we were chosen to build the 'Royal Palace for the Sultan of Oman'. Today, we operate in over 9 countries across the Middle-East and Africa.
SPCL has grown nearly fourfold in the last five years and has developed new capabilities including ‘Design & Build’ and ‘EPC contracting’. We take pride in counting the crème de la crème of manufacturing, services and other industries as our esteemed clients. We always operate with the highest levels of integrity and responsibility so as to build on the trust that we have earned over the years.
As you scan through our website, you will find several examples of industry leading projects within our portfolio, including the tallest residential building in India, the largest mall in India, the largest cement clinker plant in Asia etc. These stand as proud testimonies of the abilities of our 5,500 strong staff and the faith reposed in us by our clients.
